An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 struck Georgia at 12:08. The National Seismic Monitoring Center reported that the earthquake's epicentre was in Kakheti, specifically northwest of Dedoplistskaro, near the village of Leninovka.

Tremors were felt in other areas of Kakheti and in Tbilisi.

This is the third earthquake in Dedoplistskaro in the past week. On July 17, earthquakes of magnitude 4.9 were recorded near Leninovka at 6:09 a.m. A second earthquake of magnitude 3.6 occurred on the same day at 2:19 p.m.
