In addition, several types of prohibitions are introduced. The order will come into effect on September 18 of this year.

‘’As before, the members of the parliament, as well as the relevant members of the apparatus, will issue passes to the parliament. The check-in desk will be open until 9 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. Also, the obligation to indicate the purpose of the visit is introduced - in particular, for a meeting or an event. Unfortunately, we have had cases where the pass was issued by a person not because they had a genuine visitor coming, but for other purposes. That's why it is important that this rule is respected,’’ said Papuashvili.
By the new regulations:
- A visitor to the Parliament building is obliged to maintain peace and order, to refrain from such actions that may interfere with the activities of the Parliament and the course of events taking place in the Parliament.
- Visitors are prohibited from exhibiting banners and distributing informational materials on the premises of the parliament, as well as posting or otherwise placing demonstration materials (posters, banners, inscriptions, etc.) in the building.
- The visitor is forbidden to communicate with journalists in the spaces designated for the briefing for members of the Parliament, without the consent of the Public Relations Department of the Parliament.
- The visitor to the Parliament Palace is obliged to wear clothes in accordance with the working environment. The visitor is obliged to leave the building at the end of the purpose of the visit, but no later than 24:00 on the day of validity of the pass, unless the parliamentary event they are attending continues beyond the said time.
Visitors to the Parliament are obliged to obey the instructions of the employee of the Special State Protection Service and the security officer of the Parliament.
In case of violation of the rules, the officer has the right to demand the person to stop the violation, and in case of disobedience to the request, to demand the person leave the parliament building.
The Chairman of the Parliament is entitled, in case of violation of the rules, to apply a preventive measure, based on the assessment of the severity of the violation and the risk of repetition of the violation, and to restrict the visitor from entering the Parliament building for a period of up to one year.
