Today, November 15, at 13:02 Tbilisi time, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake (ML) struck Turkey in the Black Sea, 61 kilometres from the Georgian border. The tremor was strongly felt in Batumi and other regions of Georgia.

Two days ago, on November 13, an earthquake of magnitude 3.1 occurred in Guria. Its epicentre was in the village of Buksieti, Chokhatauri municipality.
