"We checked the intelligence, i.e., IQ, of the respondents and divided them into categories of high, medium, and low intelligence.
Based on the research, Georgian Dream was supported by 61.3% of voters in March. Additionally, our support among voters with high intelligence was 73.8%, and among voters with average intelligence, only 45.6%," the Prime Minister wrote, concluding that the most dangerous thing for the state is the dominance of people with average intelligence and knowledge.
"According to the Dunning-Kruger theory, a person with average intelligence and knowledge is characterized by the highest degree of self-confidence. A person who has not read the law but has heard from an associate professor at Ilya University and from across the ocean that this law is Russian has the strongest belief that the law he has not read is bad. As for sincerity, it has value only when it is backed up by knowledge and intelligence. A self-confident person without knowledge and intelligence is worse than a Russian tank," Kobakhidze says.
In the same letter, he says that
“up to 10,000 people take part in actions against the Russian Law, and most of them are completely insincere young nationalists.
National Movement, Gvaramia-Melia, Gakharia, and Khazaradze youth organizations, which unite dozens of violent youths.”
The head of the government notes that "violent youth organizations funded by Kezerashvili and foreign donors with black and opaque money are active at the rallies."
As he says, 200 000 people came to the rally organized by Georgian Dream on April 29, and they will act according to their dictates. "We will act at the behest of more than 60 percent of Georgian voters, who strongly and thoughtfully support the transparency of NGOs and, accordingly, the peaceful future of Georgia," the Prime Minister wrote.
On April 3, 2024, the ruling party re-initiated the Russian Law on so-called Foreign Agents in the parliament, which it withdrew a year ago as a result of thousands of protests, and promised that it would never be adopted again. The Russian Law requires independent media and non-governmental organizations that operate with grant support from international funds and cannot be controlled by the government or related groups to register as foreign agents. Mass protests against the Russian Law have been held in Tbilisi since April 15. Georgian Dream has already accepted the bill in two readings. The final hearing is scheduled for the week of May 13.
