At the end of April, Kesaria Abramidze posted on Facebook, stating that she was a victim of violence, which led her to leave the country.
"I was in a toxic relationship for almost two years. People often ask why I disappeared from the TV, and this was the reason. You may be surprised - I was under manipulation and violence. I left the country to escape the difficult situation. I will definitely return, take appropriate action, and speak publicly on this topic. No to violence! I also want to thank my front neighbor, who saved me the last time when he aggressively entered my house; otherwise, I might not be alive today. About a month ago, with a concussion, he personally took me to Ghudushauri, which is registered in the clinic. I'm writing this post to serve as an example to other women, so they don’t spend years with a manipulative, narcissistic abuser! Enough of the frequent killing of women in our country. Although many associate me with being a role model and one of the strongest women, this happened to me as well. Did anyone listen?! Did any institution do anything?!"
