The concerts will feature performances by Kakhaber and Khanumebi, Night Show Band, Ursa, and Gordela
The Ministry of Culture submitted a request to the State Procurement Agency today, July 29, to approve a simplified procurement process for these services.
Concerts featuring the musical groups Kakhaber and Khanumebi, and Ursa are planned for August 2 in Beshumi, Khulo Municipality. Ursa will also perform on August 4 in Chirukhi, Shuakhevi Municipality, alongside the ensemble Gordela. Night Show Band will perform in Zortikeli on August 10.
The honorariums for the musical groups are distributed as follows:
- Gordela – ₾16,000
- Kakhaber and Khanumebi – ₾29,500
- Ursa – ₾60,000
- Night Show Band – ₾30,729
An additional ₾17,950 ($6,670) will cover the costs of transporting the musical groups from Tbilisi to Adjara and their hotel accommodation.
The Ministry of Culture justified the need for simplified procurement by explaining that the Shuamtoba festival primarily aims to promote local culture. A significant portion of the invited musical groups' repertoire includes songs based on local motifs, which are "very popular among the local population."
