"I truly believe that no matter what happens in the Georgian elections or the U.S. elections, the relationship between the people of Georgia and the United States, as well as the ties between our companies, universities, businesses, think tanks, institutions, military, and law enforcement agencies, will remain strong. These relationships will endure any political election, regardless of the outcome in any country. This is why I take special pride in representing the U.S. here," said Ambassador Robin Dunnigan at the U.S. Election Watch Breakfast organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Tbilisi.
Robin Dunnigan expressed confidence that the relations between the two countries will withstand political changes and shifting political moods.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the Republican Party's candidate, is leading in the U.S. presidential elections. He has already declared his victory and thanked the American people for the special honor of electing him as the 47th President of the United States.
