The Central Election Commission (CEC) has completed the registration of political parties that do not have members of parliament elected under their nominations at the time of the election.

Twenty-eight political unions applied for registration with the CEC, of which nine are already registered, including the Labor Party of Georgia,Happy for Georgia, and Eka Beselia's party For Justice. According to the CEC, 19 political parties are undergoing registration procedures.
According to election legislation, each party must submit a list of at least 25,000 voters supporting the party's participation in the elections to the CEC within 60 days of receiving the sample list of party supporters, but no later than August 1.
Parties that were registered in the 2020 Georgian Parliament elections and have members of parliament elected by their nomination have the right to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Thirteen parties meet this requirement:

- Lelo for Georgia
- Girchi
- Aleko Elisashvili - Citizens
- European Georgia - Movement for Freedom
- Alliance of Georgian Patriots
- Giorgi Vashadze - Strategy Aghmashenebeii
- Law and Justice
- United National Movement
- European Democrats Georgia
- Republican Party of Georgia
- People's Movement for the State
- Progress and Freedom
To secure the right to participate in the elections, these parties must apply by August 30, according to the CEC statement.
