"Regarding mona.ge's Bolshevik approach, we do not advertise anyone who holds a different opinion on mona.ge. We believe that everyone should be entitled to their own opinion. However, we argue that those who harm society, insult others, attack the church, or publicly call for overthrow should be identified by name. Therefore, do not confuse our approach with the Khoshtaria project, which is financed by Bolshevik Russian money," stated Zarkua.
Today, the Parliament Chairman, Shalva Papuashvili, announced that they will create a database through the party structures. This database will gather information about all individuals "who are involved in violence, other illegal actions, threats and blackmail or who publicly endorse such actions."
"All measures will be taken to ensure that violations of the law, violence, and threats do not go unanswered by the state or society. When society reacts and morally assesses these issues, individuals will refrain from such actions and statements," stated Papuashvili.
"This is what authoritarianism looks like. Shame on the Georgian Dream and those enabling its destruction of Georgian people’s hopes and aspirations," responded MEP Miriam Lexmann to the statement of Georgian Parliament Chairman regarding the creation of the so-called database.
