"It only takes one wrong step, and instead of traditional New Year fireworks, we will have Lomjaria fireworks. Unfortunately, certain forces continue to consider opening a second front, which, according to their calculations, should alter the difficult situation on the first front," said Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder and honorary chairman of Georgian Dream.

As Ivanishvili said, securing the majority of mandates in the October 26 parliamentary elections will not be sufficient for Georgian Dream. The ruling party, as its founder stated, needs "an especially solid victory equal to a constitutional majority" to "finally put an end to the war party, agency, radicalism, polarization, and liberal fascism in Georgia."
"The global war party exerts significant influence on the current American and European bureaucracy, creating the perception within Georgian society that Georgia is in conflict with the American state and the European Union. However, once the war in Ukraine ends, interests will shift, and this perception will disappear instantly.
The desire of the global war party is clear. Having realized that we will not get involved in the war and cannot sacrifice Georgia to share the fate of Ukraine, they have one last attempt to return to power the agency, the unity of stateless people, the collective National Movement, which will take this step as soon as it receives the task. That is why they are lobbying for the old and new National Movement - Saakashvili, Gvaramia, Zurabishvili, Khazaradze, Gakharia, Bokeria, and other stateless politicians who will agree to any task.
'Either you fight or you leave' - this is a completely unacceptable attitude, to which the population of Georgia will give an appropriate response on October 26.
It is clear to everyone that if Georgia joins the war, the results will be even worse than those in Ukraine. Avoiding this outcome is the primary task, which will be resolved definitively on October 26 with another victory for Georgian Dream.
We have a maximum of one year left, after which global and regional political interests, including those in Georgia, will fundamentally change. The ongoing war in Ukraine will end within a year at the latest, and if the Republicans win the US presidential elections, the war may end even in January. Therefore, the most important thing is to win this short period, and as soon as the war ends, all misunderstandings with America and Europe will immediately become a thing of the past, and Georgia will become a completely different subject of interest for global political players," said Bidzina Ivanishvili.
Georgian Dream declared the election campaign open today.
