Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and others also arrived in Ashgabat.
During the forum’s plenary session, Putin stated that the decision made by the Turkmen leadership 30 years ago to adopt permanent neutrality de facto defined Turkmenistan’s development as an independent and sovereign state.
“Your country has a balanced foreign policy and makes a meaningful contribution to strengthening regional and international security and stability,” said Putin during his speech.
Kobakhidze also delivered a speech at the plenary session. He stated that the theme of the session [“Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future”] fully reflects Georgia's values and foreign policy priorities.
“With the ongoing occupation of our two historic regions, Georgia considers peace not just as a political decision, but as an existential priority,” he said.

Kobakhidze paid an official visit to Turkmenistan for the third time this year. Yesterday, on December 11, he met with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
According to the press service of the Georgian Dream government, the meeting focused on deepening cooperation in the transit and logistics sector and on the potential to attract additional cargo from Central Asia to Georgian seaports via the Middle Corridor. Irakli Kobakhidze expressed Georgia's willingness to assist in transporting Turkmen gas across Georgian territory.
The President of Turkmenistan thanked the head of the Georgian Dream government for attending the forum. He noted that Kobakhidze’s participation in the forum demonstrates his support for Turkmenistan’s neutrality policy.
