At today's session, 89 parliamentarians supported the draft resolution on the recognition of Imeda Nikuradze as a member of parliament.
Until now, Imeda Nikuradze was the deputy director of the Tbilisi Development Fund founded by the Tbilisi City Hall. Before that, he held the position of deputy head of the Tbilisi City Hall - Department Of Architecture. Until 2015, Imeda Nikuradze was the head of administration and lawyer of the construction company Elita Burji LLC owned by Bidzina Ivanishvili.
Mikheil Sarjveladze was appointed as the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories of Georgia, Labor, Health, and Social Protection on March 11, 2024. Due to this appointment, he was deprived of his powers as a member of parliament.
Sarjveladze also held the position of chairman of the Human Rights Protection and Civil Integration Committee in Parliament. He was replaced in this position by Rati Ionatamishvili, a member of the Georgian Dream.
