In the village of Nakhiduri, located in Bolnisi Municipality, two minors lost their lives in a car collision on the road connecting Marneuli and Bolnisi. The incident sparked local protests, leading to the mobilization of police and special forces in the village. As a result, car movement between Marneuli and Bolnisi has been restricted.

The local news agency InterPress.ge reported the traffic accident at around 20:00. The teenagers were struck by a Mercedes-Benz car, with one dying at the scene and the other succumbing to injuries after being taken to the hospital.
Villagers drove the ambulance themselves. According to InterPress.ge, the ambulance arrived late to the scene of the accident. Additionally, locals physically assaulted the driver involved in the collision.
As per information from Marneuli community radio, citizens also gathered near the Aversi clinic and broke the windows of the medical facility.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that officers from the Kvemo Kartli Main Division of the Patrol Police Department arrested the driver involved in the traffic incident - T.CH., born in 2003 - as a result of operational search measures and investigative activities.
The investigation established that the driver, with four passengers in the car under his control, was traveling on the road when the traffic accident occurred. As a result, two teenagers on foot lost their lives - one at the scene and the other at a medical facility, according to the Ministry's statement.
The case is being investigated under Article 276 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to violations of traffic safety or operational rules.
