Another Georgian fighter, 48-year-old Tengiz Tchania, died in Ukraine. Tchania fought as part of the Azov Brigade in the Donetsk region, specifically in the Avdeevka-Marinka direction.

A Georgian fighter was killed by a Russian missile attack on March 23. His body has not yet been removed from the battlefield.

Tengiz Tchania was displaced from Abkhazia and participated in the Abkhazia and August 2008 wars. He fought in Ukraine from the first day of the war and was wounded twice in the last two years.

"We went through everything together, we did not spare ourselves for our territorial integrity. Loyalty and love of country brought us what brought us - this misfortune. He fought the common enemy wherever he was. As soon as the war in Ukraine started, he immediately got involved. He fought in Abkhazia, in Samachablo. In Georgia, he received an award for exceptional bravery. He received two awards in Ukraine. It will be over soon, and we will return to Abkhazia - he expected this, it was the reason for everything," Tengiz Tchania's brother, Temur Tchania, told the media.

The burial of the deceased Georgian fighter is planned in the village of Ganmukhuri, Zugdidi municipality.
