“I got out of the elevator, and as I was going down the stairs, they suddenly jumped out. There were about 50 people, swearing, and they started beating me. They hit me on the head with something, I fell, and they kicked me. They clearly recognized me. They came with an order to beat someone who was recognizable. Of course, it was intentional. They beat me twice, and both times the authorities ended it very badly,” said Koba Khabazi.
He added that he lost his phone during the attack.
The assault on the Coalition for Change office took place around 10:00 PM. The masked men physically assaulted at least two other people in the office.
Earlier, in the same area, masked men, presumably special forces in civilian clothing, attacked a TV Pirveli camera crew live on air.
