In a statement released by My Vote, it was reported that on election day, their observers witnessed violations of vote secrecy, instances of individuals voting on behalf of others or voting multiple times, and cases where markings were not checked or votes were cast without proper marking. Additionally, there were physical and verbal assaults on polling stations, as well as actions that obstructed and hindered observation, particularly during the verification process. The organization also recorded hundreds of incidents involving unauthorized aggressive individuals in the vicinity and instances of agitation by commission members.
"Complaints have been submitted regarding serious violations identified in these precincts, which grossly undermined the fundamental principles of elections - namely, secrecy and the free expression of will," stated My Vote.
Of the 246 contested precincts, 33 are located in Batumi, 32 in Marneuli, 27 in Gardabani, 17 in Kutaisi, and 15 each in Gori and Telavi.
