"I want to be clear about the decisions we’ve made on behalf of our team. Both you and we recognize these elections as illegitimate. They are not legitimate!
We will not enter this parliament, and if we refuse to enter, we are renouncing all mandates and closing the lists. We are committed to fighting until we achieve victory, and I promise you - we will definitely win together!
We have a very specific demand: to hold new elections, managed by an international election administration, not this fake election administration. These conditions must be met.
However, we will not engage in any negotiations. We refuse to enter into any dialogue. The only negotiation or agreement should be on holding new elections, conducted by an international administration, not by election commissions controlled by Georgian Dream and SSS," said Vashadze.
On October 28, tens of thousands of citizens gathered on Rustaveli Avenue to protest the results announced by the Central Election Commission, according to which Georgian Dream received almost 54% of the vote. The four opposition parties that passed the electoral threshold, along with President Salome Zourabichvili, believe the elections were rigged.
The coalition of local monitoring organizations, My Vote, demands the annulment of results from 189 election precincts. According to the coalition, a pre-planned, organized fraud scheme was in operation on election day, as confirmed by complaints filed by observers, eyewitness testimonies, and supporting photo, video, and audio evidence.
