"The Verkhovna Rada has received a resignation request from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba," Stefanchuk wrote on social media, explaining that the application will be discussed at the next plenary session.
Kuleba has held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2020. Yesterday, Ukrainska Pravda reported on the possibility of his dismissal based on sources, although the reasons for this decision were not specified in the article. According to the publication, it is most likely that Kuleba will be replaced by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andri Sibiga.
Dmytro Kuleba himself has not yet made a public comment regarding his resignation.
It should be noted that on September 3, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishina, who has held the position since 2020, and Vice Prime Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk left their posts.
Additionally, Oleksandr Kamishin, Minister of Strategic Industry, Denis Maliuska, Minister of Justice, and Ruslan Strilets, Minister of Environment, also departed from their positions.
The country's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has indicated that further changes are planned in the Ukrainian government.
