On August 18, Kadyrov announced that he received an electric car from Musk, which he plans to give to fighters on the Russian side in Ukraine for use "under appropriate conditions."
“I am sure that this ‘beast’ will be of great use to our soldiers. I sincerely thank Elon Musk. He is, without a doubt, the greatest genius and specialist of our time, a remarkable person. Elon, thank you! Come to Grozny, and I will welcome you as our most esteemed guest. I don't believe the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs would object to such a visit. And, of course, we look forward to new inventions that will contribute to the successful completion of the special military operation," Kadyrov wrote on Telegram.
Elon Musk stated that he did not give an electric car to Ramzan Kadyrov. He responded to the claims made by the Chechen leader with a statement on the social network X, saying, "Are you seriously so retarded that you think I donated a Cybertruck to a Russian general? Yet another example of how much the legacy media lies."
