During the 10 months of 2023, Iraq was the largest importer of Russian flour, while Georgia occupied the second place. Interfax publication citing Agroexport, the agency of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, writes that 126 thousand tons of flour is exported into Georgia.

In January-October, Russia exported 990,000 tons of wheat and wheat-rye flour, which exceeds the volume of exports for the whole of 2022.
“Iraq became the largest purchaser of flour; it held a second place at the end of last year. In January-October, more than 150 thousand tons of Russian flour was sent to Iraq, which is 17% more than the quantity sent during the 10 months of 2022. The second place was occupied by Georgia, where 126 thousand tons were exported. China also entered the top three - they increased their purchase of Russian flour and now import 3.7 times of what they used to, amounting to more than 100,000 tons in 2023. In 2022, 37 thousand tons of flour went to China, in 2021 - less than 13 thousand tons,” writes Interfax.
According to the data from the National Statistical Service of Georgia 33,848,750 USD worth of wheat or wheat-rye was imported into the country in January-October of 2023. Of this amount, 32,554,860 USD is from Russian flour. Imports have decreased from last year - the value of Russian wheat or wheat-rye flour imported into Georgia during 10 months of 2022 amounted to 54,503,170 USD. Georgia was the largest importer of Russian flour in 2022.
