"All available mechanisms have been activated to secure the release of the illegally detained Georgian citizen as quickly as possible," SSS announced.
The Tskhinvali occupation regime has not yet provided any information about the incident. The identity of the detainee remains unknown. Georgian citizens have also been illegally detained in occupied Abkhazia. Remiko, born in 1964, Murtaz Tchitanavas, born in 1967, and Archil Sekania, born in 1979, residents of Otobaia (Bgoura) village in the Gali district, have been arrested. A so-called criminal case has been initiated against them on the fabricated charge of "organizing illegal migration." The so-called court has sentenced all three detainees to two months of "pretrial detention."
