“What has been announced is that there will be a big rally on Monday night. I noticed that there were differing opinions about when it should take place. Within our group, there were various viewpoints on the date, and there was much discussion regarding which day would be best. We must also recognize that there are many people involved and that three political groups, which encompass numerous other political groups, are participating. It should be understood that decisions are made by consensus. Therefore, this was the consensus version.
Regarding the plan, something will be announced on Monday, but I don't see many versions of the plan. If there is an expectation for a daily or hourly written plan, such a plan cannot exist in nature.
There are possible scenarios for the development of some processes, but there are not many versions," Zurab Japaridze said during an interview with Formula television company.
Japaridze mentioned that the three political groups have largely completed their work on gathering evidence: "A big package has been assembled, which will be sent to all monitoring missions and all Western partners."
"Now we are in the next phase. In my opinion, the Central Election Commission will be a critical moment. As per the legislation, they have until November 21 to publish the summary protocol and stamp it to recognize these written numbers. Therefore, I believe that the process - the protest and everything - should be focused on the CEC and Kalandarishvili from beginning to end. I don’t know if that can be called a plan, but I think that's what needs to be done. If he dares to fulfill the orders of the Russians, he will still write these numbers. The next stage will be that the parliament of these supposedly elected officials will need to convene. I want to emphasize that no one can expect anything to come out of the current political process. This is the plan that needs to be implemented at this moment,” said Zurab Japaridze.
The three opposition unions that passed the threshold in the parliamentary elections - Strong Georgia, Unity - National Movement, and Coalition for Change - announced a rally on Rustaveli Avenue on Monday, November 4, at 19:00. As the leaders stated at a special briefing held on October 31, their action plan will be announced at the rally.
