As Irakli Kobakhidze said, the region was represented at the highest level at the inauguration of the Iranian president.
"I attended the inauguration of the president of Iran. Iran is a very important state in the region. With this in mind, this inauguration was attended by almost all the states of the region. This inauguration was attended by the personal representative of Josep Borrell, the personal representative of the UN Secretary-General, and a representative group.

On July 30, Irakli Kobakhidze attended the inauguration of the newly elected president of Iran, Masoud Fezeshkiani, which was held in Tehran at the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pezeshkian was elected president in early July after his predecessor, Ebrahim Raisi, was killed in a helicopter crash on May 19. Irakli Kobakhidze, together with Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, visited Iran on May 22 and attended Raisi's funeral.
