Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the Georgian Dream government will have the opportunity to restart relations with everyone, including the Global War Party, starting next year. He cited the elections in Georgia and the USA, as well as the end of the war in Ukraine, as preconditions for this.

Kobakhidze stated at today's briefing that the Global War Party is behind the cancellation of his invitation to President Biden's annual reception in New York.
"The hand of the Global War Party is involved in everything. Some people are very upset that we haven't taken concrete steps since 2022, and these facts reflect that irritation. This is why we say that when the war in Ukraine ends, the interests toward Georgia will change, and after that, we will have the opportunity to qualitatively reset relations with the USA. I want to specify that we are ready to reset relations from here. If there are steps to be taken, yes, but we don't expect that before the end of the year. However, I will repeat that from the beginning of next year, we are confident that after one election and another election, as well as the end of the war in Ukraine, relations between Georgia and the United States of America will be qualitatively reset.
We must forge peace with everyone, including the Global War Party, after the interests change," Kobakhidze said.
In response to a journalist's question about how he envisions qualitatively changing the relationship, the Prime Minister said:
"I want you to imagine what the situation will be at the beginning of next year: the elections will be over here and there, and that’s one thing. Second, Salome Zourabichvili will no longer be the president of Georgia. Third, we believe that the war in Ukraine will definitely end in the first half of next year, and these are the factors that will ultimately lead to the reset of relations. These are the factors; for the rest, wait and see what happens."
Representatives of Georgian Dream have been spreading conspiratorial messages about the existence of the Global War Party for the last two years. The founder and honorary chairman of the ruling party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, speaking to supporters on April 29, stated that the Global War Party has a decisive influence on both NATO and the European Union, and for them, "Georgia and Ukraine only have the price of hideous meat." According to him, "the main reason for the aggression of the Global War Party toward Georgia is that, despite great efforts, it could not turn Georgia into a second front, which it would have easily achieved under the conditions of the agency's return to power."
Bidzina Ivanishvili accuses the Global War Party of blackmail and links the financial loss he experienced with the Swiss bank Credit Suisse to it.
The US Embassy in Georgia responded to this topic on October 1, stating that Ivanishvili knows that the money related to Credit Suisse is in the hands of the courts of Bermuda and Singapore, not in the hands of the American courts, yet he presents reality to the Georgian population in a different way. "Why is he telling Georgians a different story?" the embassy's statement questioned. In a reply letter, Bidzina Ivanishvili wrote that behind the robbery of the bank account and financial blackmail are not the USA or the European Union, but the Global War Party, which has a principled influence on their politicians and bureaucrats.
