"Today, the so-called liberals are putting the countries’ identity and nations at risk all over the world. Europe and the USA face these risks the most, where the so-called liberal ideology has the most widespread roots," said the Georgian Prime Minister during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Hungary.

Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the so-called liberals fight against Christianity with special enthusiasm and use propaganda as a weapon, which "under total control of the media" has more power than the Bolsheviks.

"Today, the Georgian Orthodox Church is a special target of their attack," Kobakhidze said.

As he noted, the so-called liberals are also fighting against "such an important pillar of the country's identity as state sovereignty."

"If the processes continue in the current direction, state sovereignty will soon be formally declared as unacceptable as the national and religious identity of the country is deemed today. Georgia has successfully preserved both its national and religious identity and traditional values. However, we also face significant challenges. The so-called liberals are actively seeking to disseminate their ideology in Georgian society and undermine the foundations of the state and society," said Kobakhidze.

The Georgisn Prime Minister stated that in response to these "challenges," the ruling Georgian Dream has presented the constitutional draft law, the purpose of which is "to protect family values and the interests of minors." However, in fact, the amendments prohibit any public expression of opinion or public gathering that can "promote same-sex relationships." This initiative of the ruling party before the elections in the European Council was assessed as manipulation and discrimination against LGBTI community.

Irakli Kobakhidze believes that uncontrolled migration poses the biggest threat to the national identity of European countries. He warns that if the current pace of migration continues, the local population will soon be in the minority in many European countries.

"You did not allow the uncontrolled entry of migrants into Hungary, thereby preserving the country's strong national identity. You firmly stand on guard for Christianity and Christian values in Hungary. You firmly oppose the so-called liberal propaganda, to prevent harm to children and young people and to protect their moral values. You firmly protect Hungary's state sovereignty, which is a necessary condition for protecting and realizing the country's national interests. Hungary and its government, Prime Minister Viktor Orban personally, are role models for everyone for whom the words 'motherland' and 'patriotism' have special value," said Kobakhidze.

The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is being held in Hungary for the third time this year, with its keynote speaker once again being the country's Prime Minister, Viktor Orban. Based on the agenda, discussions will be held on April 25-26 on the topics "Sovereignty Lives, Globalism Dies," "Save the West, Protect the Borders," and "We Win, They Lose - 2024, Election Super Year."

The Georgian Prime Minister made a speech at this conservative conference for the first time in 2023. The then head of government, Irakli Garibashvili, was criticized in the European Union for his support of Orban and the homophobic messages spread at the conference. The Party of European Socialists (PES) decided to withdraw the observer member status given to Georgian Dream in 2015. However, before the discussion on this issue
