The Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has begun issuing international driving licenses in accordance with the Geneva Convention of September 19, 1949, On Road Traffic.

An international driver's license is issued for a period of one year based on a national driver's license, with a cost of 109 GEL. This license is valid outside of Georgia in member states of the Geneva Convention.
The Service Agency also issues international driving licenses in accordance with the Vienna Convention of November 8, 1968, which are valid for three years. These licenses are valid outside of Georgia in member states of the Vienna Convention.
To obtain an international driver's license, individuals must submit an identity document and a national driver's license to the service agency.
According to the service agency, international driver's licenses are issued at the agency's structural units, and this service is not available remotely.
