Thailand has introduced a 60-day visa-free travel option for citizens of 93 countries, including Georgia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, and Spain. For visa-free entry into Thailand, typically only a passport is required, which must be valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date. However, border guards may also request additional documentation, such as:
- A return ticket within 60 days
- Proof of sufficient finances (20 000 Thai baht, approximately 1500 GEL per person, or 40000 baht for a family)
- Evidence of temporary residence, such as a hotel reservation
For trips exceeding 60 days or for non-tourist purposes, Georgian citizens must still obtain a visa. Visas can be obtained through the consular services of the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara, Turkey's capital.
