In the 3rd quarter of 2023, Teleimedi enjoyed the largest share of total television commercial advertising-income, whose revenue, compared to the same period of 2022, increased by 1.4 million GEL and amounted to 6.3 million. The commercial income of Rustavi 2 (Media Holding) increased by 1.1 million GEL and made up 2.6 million. As for the Mtavari Channel, compared to the third quarter of last year, its income decreased by 0.2 million, dropping to 1.9 million. POSTV made 0.5 million more, whose commercial income in the third quarter of 2023 totaled 1.9 million GEL. The advertising income of TV Formula increased by 0.4 million and reached 1.3 million GEL. TV Pirveli received 0.1 million GEL more for a total of 1.2 million GEL. The income of GDS TV grew by 0.2 million GEL to a total of 0.7 million. BMG received 0.1 million GEL less and its income in the 3rd quarter of 2023 equaled 0.7 million. The Public Broadcaster received 0.1 million more for a total of 0.5 million GEL. The income of Palitranews grew by 0.07 million GEL and totaled 0.1 million GEL. Other broadcasters received a total of 1.1 million GEL in advertising revenue.
In the 3rd quarter of 2023, the ten companies that placed ads at Teleimedi, whose paid amount ranges from 100 to 500 thousand GEL, are as follows: Diplomat Georgia, Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia, Sloboda, PSP Pharma, IDS Borjomi Tbilisi, Tskali Margebeli, Smart Capital Consulters Ltd., Georgian Distribution - Marketing Company, Colgate Palmolive, and Arch Promotions.
Mtavari Channel was paid between 7 and 500 thousand for ad placement by: Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia, PSP Pharma, Wissol, Diplomat Georgia, Tskali Margebeli, Aversi Pharma, GM Pharmaceuticals, Selfie Mobile, Wimm-Bill-Dann Georgia, and McDonald’s.
TV Formula was paid between 7 and 500 thousand by the following companies: Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia, PSP Pharma, TBC Bank, C Corporation 22 Ltd., Tegeta Motors, Aversi Pharma, Chinese Medicine Center, K. Eristavi National Center of Experimental and Clinical Surgery, Tbilisi branch of the International Research and Exchange Board, and Diplomat Georgia.
In the case of POSTV, the top 10 contributors who paid between 7 and 500 thousand GEL were: Cavea, Caucasus Auto Service, Tiflis Pub, Stereo +, Republic, Rdzisame, Palavani, Wissol, Gulf, and Diplomat Georgia.
As for radio broadcasters, their advertising revenue in the third quarter of 2023 increased by 25% compared to the same period of 2022 and amounted to 1.7 million GEL, of which more than 90% was direct advertising and more than 9% was sponsorship.
