Ketevan Tsikhelashvili was relieved of her position as the plenipotentiary ambassador of Georgia in Austria and as the permanent representative of Georgia to the OSCE and other international organizations located in Vienna. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze signed the relevant decree on July 24.

Based on the document, the Prime Minister approved the President's decree of July 18 on the release of Tsikhelashvili.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the release of Ketevan Tsikhelashvili is related to the expiration of the rotation period. At the moment, it is not known who will replace her in the position.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili was appointed ambassador four years ago, in 2020. From 2016 to 2020, she was the State Minister of Reconciliation and Civil Equality of Georgia, and before that, she worked as a deputy minister.
